About Golf Fore Her

What is Golf Fore Her?

Golf Fore Her is a Sydney-based women’s golf community created to make golf more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for women aged 18+.

We deliver structured women’s golf lessons in Sydney, social programs and on-course experiences designed to help women build skills, confidence and connection, both on and off the course.

Our mission is simple: to create a space where women feel comfortable starting, learning and progressing in golf.

Who is Golf Fore Her for?

Golf Fore Her is for women aged 18+ who want to learn golf in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Whether you’re completely new to golf, returning after time away, or looking to build confidence on the course, our golf programs for women are designed to meet you where you are.

If you’ve been curious about trying golf but felt unsure where to start, this is your space.

Do I need golf experience to join?

No prior experience is required.

Many women join us with little to no experience playing golf or attending the driving range. Our beginner golf lessons for women are specifically designed to remove intimidation and provide clear, structured guidance in a welcoming group setting.

If you’re looking to learn golf in Sydney without pressure, we’ll guide you step by step.

What makes Golf Fore Her different?

Golf Fore Her was created specifically for women who want to learn golf in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment.

We combine structured coaching with community connection, small group sizes and clear development pathways. Unlike traditional golf lessons, our programs focus not only on technique but also on confidence-building and real on-course application.

We understand that starting golf can feel overwhelming, which is why our women’s golf lessons prioritise support, clarity and progression.

Is this just for beginners?

While many women start with us as complete beginners, our programs are structured as Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3, creating a clear and supportive pathway.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a refresher, Level 1 is the perfect place to start, covering the core clubs and fundamental skills you need to build confidence from the ground up. As your skills develop, you can progress through Level 2 and Level 3, where the focus shifts towards improving consistency and getting you comfortable out on the golf course.

No matter where you're starting from, there’s a clear, guided journey to help you move from your first swing to playing on course within our women’s golf programs in Sydney.

Getting started

I’ve never played golf before - where do I start?

You’re exactly where you need to be.

Our Level 1 5-Week Program is designed for women aged 18+ who are completely new to golf. These beginner golf lessons for women focus on fundamentals in a relaxed and supportive group environment at Eastlake Golf Club in Sydney.

You don’t need to know the rules, terminology or how to swing, we guide you through everything step by step.

What should I bring to my first session?

Just yourself and a willingness to learn.

If you have golf clubs, feel free to bring them, but you don’t need your own equipment to start. We recommend bringing:

  • Comfortable clothing
  • Enclosed shoes (sneakers are perfect)
  • A water bottle
  • A hat and sunscreen

We provide clubs and balls for all beginner golf sessions.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely. Activewear or golf attire is perfect, especially for your first women’s golf lesson.

Enclosed shoes (such as sneakers) are ideal. If your session is held on course, we’ll guide you through any relevant golf club dress code requirements beforehand.

To start, comfort and confidence are key.

Do I need my own clubs?

No, you don’t need your own clubs to begin learning golf.

We provide equipment for all our beginner and intermediate women’s golf programs. If you decide to continue your golf journey, we can guide you on when and what to purchase.

There’s no need to invest upfront.

How do I book my first lesson or event?

You can book your women’s golf lessons in Sydney directly through our website by selecting your preferred program or event and following the registration prompts.

If you’re unsure which program is right for you, feel free to contact us and we’ll help guide you toward the best starting point.

Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but once you arrive, you’ll realise you’re in the right place.

Lessons & programs

What types of lessons do you offer?

We offer structured women’s golf lessons in Sydney across three progressive levels:

  • Level 1 – 5-Week Program
Beginner golf lessons for women new to the game or those looking for a refresher on the core clubs and fundamental skills.
  • Level 2 – 5-Week Program
Designed for women ready to build on foundational skills and introduce more clubs.
  • Level 3 – 5-Week Program
On-course golf lessons focused on strategy, rules and course play.
  • Supervised Practice Sessions
Full Swing, Short Game and Putting sessions to reinforce skills and build consistency.

Our women’s golf programs are designed to provide a clear development pathway, so you can confidently learn golf and progress at your own pace.

Are lessons group or private?

All Golf Fore Her sessions are delivered as small group golf lessons for women.

Our group format creates a supportive and social environment, while still allowing for personalised coaching and feedback. Group sizes are intentionally kept small (minimum 4, maximum 10 participants) to ensure quality instruction.

This structure makes learning golf less intimidating and more enjoyable.

How long are sessions?

All women’s golf lessons run for 1 hour.

Our 5-Week Programs run over five consecutive weeks, with one session per week at Eastlake Golf Club.

Supervised Practice sessions also run for 1 hour and operate on a rotating cycle throughout the year, helping you maintain and improve your golf skills consistently.

How do I know which program is right for me?

If you’re new to golf or have little experience, Level 1 is the ideal starting point. It’s perfect for complete beginners or those wanting a refresher on the core clubs and fundamentals.

If you’ve completed Level 1 or have some experience hitting balls at the range, Level 2 will help you build on your skills and gain more consistency.

If you’re ready to transition onto the course, Level 3 focuses on applying your skills in real playing situations, including strategy, rules and course play.

If your goal is to practise with structure and guidance, our Supervised Practice Sessions provide a supportive way to improve your golf game.

If you’re unsure where to start, we’re always happy to help guide you.

Are programs run in terms or casually?

Our 5-week women’s golf programs run in structured five-week blocks. If you’re unable to attend a session, just let your instructor know or drop us a message and we’ll pro-rate your booking accordingly.

Supervised Practice sessions run continuously throughout the year, allowing you to book ongoing, structured practice in Sydney.

New program dates are released regularly via our website.

Can I join mid-program?

Our structured 5-Week Programs are designed to be completed as a full block, as each women’s golf lesson builds progressively on the previous session.

If you’ve missed a session or are unsure about suitability, please contact us and we’ll help determine the best option.

Supervised Practice sessions offer more flexibility and can be joined when appropriate.

Where are lessons held?

All Golf Fore Her women’s golf lessons are held at Eastlake Golf Club in Sydney.
